All our coaches are British Fencing registered

We also have invaluable help from our coaching assistants, who come from our older 'Gold' group of fencers

Justyna Osmańska (formerly Anuszewska)   coach

Justyna has been a member of the Polish Olympic Team since 2007 and has competed at World Championships and European Championships.
Justyna has a Master’s Degree in Physical Education with a Major in Personal Training.
Her Master’s thesis was to examine the effects of a 6-week plyometric and locomotion speed training for a group of fencers.

She likes her fencers to be fast and fit!


 
   Maciej Wojtkowiak  coach
His pupils include GBR Cadet and Junior Champions and Junior World Cup and European medallists.  His fitness sessions are reknowned and he especially likes footwork with tennis balls!

Club Secretary

Keeps the club going through thick and thin and all-round hard-worker
Qualified Early Years practitioner working with 4-8 years in mainstream school

 

Chris Sandford  Assistant coach

An ex-Finchley Foilist, now a management consultant, who still enjoys coming to FF - luckily for us.

James Brosnan  coach

Also learnt to fence at FF, now an experienced coach and competes for Ireland. He is about to start at medical school having lived and fenced in Italy for 2 years and then acquired a medical sciences degree.
